Aesthetic Nurse/Therapist Job Description

To provide support to clients undertaking cosmetic surgical treatments pre and post operatively, in line with Health Care Commissions protocols and regulatory practices. To assist and provide clinical support to medical practitioners. To undertake spesific treatments in line with job description.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • To discuss with clients pre op procedures after disscussion with the medical practitioner
  • To prepare clients for procedures
  • To assist the medical practitioner during surgical treatments
  • To provide pre & post-operative clinical care to clients
  • To ensure HCC & NMC protocols and procedures are adhered to
  • To ensure Best Practice for patients
  • To ensure Best Practice for clinical environment
  • If appropriate, undertake non surgical cosmetic treatments e.g. Botox, Dermafillers, Dermabrasions, Dental whitening
  • To assist with induction programmes for newly appointed staff
  • To adhear to Health & Safety Procedures and Practices

    • Competencies/Experience required

  • Good communication skills
  • Computer and Administration skills
  • Relationship builder
  • 2 Years post registration
  • RGN/NMC Registration
  • Beauty Therapy Level 3- Microdermabrasion, Glycolic Peels, Facials, Teeth whitening desirable
  • IPL lasering
  • Aesthetic Certificate
  • Dermatology experience considered
